Women 2 Women, the Chamber’s professional women’s committee, is sponsored by Somerville & Company, P.L.L.C. and aims to identify women leaders in our community, provide mentoring and networking opportunities, and to promote a realistic work/life balance. The committee is designed to provide an opportunity for area professional women to become more involved in the community while requiring a limited time commitment consisting of five meetings per year.

Ambassadors
Ambassadors represent the Chamber by promoting community and business participation while conveying and encouraging positive image building within the community. Members of this committee attend grand openings and other business functions to increase awareness of the Chamber.
Government Affairs
The Government Affairs Committee leads the Chamber’s efforts to establish and voice political issues, which affect member businesses. Volunteers must be a member of the Huntington Regional Chamber and have a strong interest in political issues affecting Cabell and Wayne County businesses.

HuntPAC
HuntPAC is the Chamber’s Political Action Committee and is a voluntary, non-profit association completely independent of and not affiliated with any political party, candidate or organization. HuntPAC raises funds and awareness of its endorsements of pro-jobs candidates and key political issues during the West Virginia Legislative session.
Young Professionals Committee
The Young Professional Committee provides networking opportunities to area young professionals, educating them through various speakers and workshops. The YPC also provide an outlet for young professionals to give back to the community, and develop a core of young leaders committed to growing the Huntington region.

Downtown Live
The Downtown Live Committee was formed by the Chamber and tasked with creating events in the Huntington central business district. The group was formed as a result of some downtown business and property owners contacting the Chamber about the need for more events downtown to attract customer traffic.
