Member Referral Program

Referrals are an important part of your business, and they are just as important to us! The Huntington Regional Chamber’s membership referral program is an initiative designed to incentivize existing members to actively promote the benefits of Chamber affiliation to potential new members.

Through this program, current members are encouraged to refer businesses and organizations within their networks to join the Chamber. This helps us expand our mission of Connecting the Community (networking and collaboration), Cultivating Growth (business development and growth), and Catalyzing Development (innovation, education, and professional development).

 

Member Referral Program Terms:

  • Referring members must be in good standing with the Chamber.
  • A referral is a business that joins the Chamber as a direct result of a current member’s effort.  It does not apply to businesses that the Chamber is presently in contact with regarding new membership.
  • You need to inform the business you are referring that you have submitted them as a potential new member and that the Chamber will be contacting them.
  • Complete the online form.
  • If a referral form is submitted more than once for the same prospective member, the Chamber will honor only the first referring business.
  • The Chamber will contact the referred business, mention your company as the referring business, and encourage them to move forward with joining the Chamber.
  • Membership dues payment (monthly or annually) must be paid by the new member within three months of your referral.
  • There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.

 

Reward:

  • Once your referral joins the Chamber and pays, you will be entered into a quarterly drawing for a $250 gift card to a Chamber member of your choice.
